Rachael Murnane

Rachael Murnane, Director

Rachael has more than 15 years experience as a communications professional, she is passionate about using communication to:

  • benefit the community;

  • improve health and wellbeing awareness;

  • create understanding about key environmental and sustainability issues;

  • engage with stakeholders who have influence over major regional outcomes; and

  • work with organisations who have strong links with the community.

Rachael is proud to call regional Victoria home, but brings with her a wealth of experience from working in London and Melbourne.

Prior to establishing Red Strategic Communications, Rachael worked for 11 years with one of Australia's leading strategic communications agencies, Fenton Communications.

While at Fenton's Rachael managed major projects on behalf of Yarra Valley Water, ANZ, TRU Energy, St Vincents & Mercy Private Hospital, Wesley Mission and the Victorian Government including the Department of Human Services, the Department of Sustainability and Environment, the Department of Education, Training and Early Childhood Development and the Department of Justice.

Rachael has won a range of state and national awards from the Public Relations Institute of Australia for her work with the Royal Women's Hospital, St Vincents & Mercy Private Hospital and Very Special Kids.

Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts (Public Relations) from RMIT and was a founding member of the Melbourne Zoo Youth Advisory Panel.
